Here at Birches Bed & Breakfast, we want to welcome you to come experience our lovely cottage rentals in Southwest Harbor, ME. This has been a family owned property for 120 years and gets renovation every year.

Overlooking the great harbor of Mt. Dessert Island, you will never see a view quite like this anywhere else. We like to think what makes us special is what we have to offer here. Our private waterfront property will give you the peace and quiet you are looking for. During the day if you want to hit the links we are located near the Causeway Club Golf Course. Also conveniently located near us is Acadia National Park.

We have 3 large rooms here at our cottage, all ready for you to come stay in them. Feel free to take advantage of everything around us including the water. If you want to go boating for the day, we have a close relationship with the nearby boat companies. You are also welcome to bring your own and put it in at our dock.

No matter what you do while you are here, the point is to keep it relaxing, and it is not hard to do that here.
